Most video cameras record footage to a storage card, which is then imported into a computer to piece into the video. However, live editing is something that can be done if you have multiple cameras set at once. The footage from each of the cameras is routed to a hub and switcher, where we can then choose to cut between shots while the action is still occuring. The main benefit of this method is a faster turnaround for your videos, meaning people can see them sooner.
Live editing means you can add dynamic cuts to an otherwise static camera shot. Whether you’re streaming to a private platform or simply YouTube or Facebook, a live webcast is a great way to get your content out to a wider audience. Live streaming has been an effective way for businesses to provide a more authentic voice to their people, and has allowed organizations to address questions in a more meaningful way.
What we use for our corporate clients gets a similar effect to large, multicamera TV studios – but at a fraction of the cost. We scale the number of cameras to your budget and needs, and ensure that even if you’re shooting live, the quality looks polished and professional as if it were edited in post. Got a project or an idea? We’d love to hear it here !
