[Why I Do It: Transcript] I receive a lot of great feedback on the tips videos I post, but the reality is I wouldn’t have been able to keep up with them on a weekly basis like I have if it weren’t benefiting me and my business.

Like with most marketing initiatives, you start out and it’s a slow progression. Then you look back over time and you start to see the patterns and benefits that have emerged from your investment.

When I look back on the past 15 months when I made a commitment to post weekly, I’m reminded of all the connections I’ve made, all the new business I’ve landed, and all the new opportunities that my online presence has brought to me.

It’s Well Worth the Effort… At Least It Was For Me

So I wanted to make a video this week to encourage anyone who has been considering putting themselves out there in a similar way, but might be nervous about the resources and commitment it will take. I want you to know it’s worth it.

Think of your videos like you would any other networking initiatives, SEO tactics, online ads, etc.  They’re about being seen as a thought leader and remembered for the valuable information you shared. And there’s no other medium that allows you to do it quite as well as video.

If you are interested in learning more about my experience, and how you may be able to do something similar, feel free to reach out!
